Super sketchy sketch. Need to pretty it more but.

Bluhh. I don't like the faces on this. I need to fix them. And probably weird proportions. I don't know. I might redraw the whole thing and try from my head instead of from a reference. But then... I donno. I feel like from my head, I don't really do anything with foreshortening at all, and the poses always end up looking the same...

... also in afterthought I should have left the sketchier lines under this in the picture, because their legs look all messed up without them. D: Ohwell. I guess see what Windy thinks and then work from there tomorrow maybe.

Started and to-go-unfinished

 

So original sketch, then attempt at color. Kind of.... don't like how it's going. Don't like the eyes, can't really fix them without completely erasing them, don't wanna bother. So probably just going to start fresh.

Playing with trying to layer color ontop of a grayscale sketch. Character is my miqo'te in FFXIV, Y'khress.

I like the sketch better with this one. nose got weird in the painting. And I had to redo his eyes a couple times because I made them too big.

Valandil for Chris

 

Sketch of Valandil. Decided after I started painting his jaw was too square. I also ended up changing his lips and nose a little...

And here's the painted version. I like it. Although I realize now that I forgot to do more to his lips. Tried doing the hair on a separate layer this time. I kind of like it better in some ways, but then I don't like how the ends end up... all blunt.

Craptacular Portrait

I need to learn how to paint people again. :\ This is hard. Quick portrait sketch of some model guy. I destroyed his eyes because they were terrible. I need to practice more.

Gnome Cavalier for Ornus

A friend's pathfinder character, a gnome with pale green skin and blue hair. Her mount is a boar.

Took me forever to get around to coloring it, but now I think it looks allright? Better than the other pathfinder busts I've done, anyway. Took more time on the shading.

Gnome Cavalier again. Boar heraldry because her mount is a boar. Color tomorrow.

Quick illustrator sketch. Lines feel chunkier than usual, but eh. Character from Pathfinder Society game, Zuhayr Samara. He's a Beastbrood/Rakshasa-blood Tiefling Rogue from Qadira.

Random sketch thing of some Wildclaws. I decided while drawing this that their wings are weird. Might try to clean it up. Not sure right now.
